Ninety9cents young talent to represent South Africa at Cannes Lions

We are proud that two of our staff members, Amri Botha (Post-Production Editor) and Carina Coetzee (Copywriter), have been selected to represent their country at the 2017 Cannes Awards for the Young Lions competition.

Amri and Carina were challenged to create a 60-second commercial for UNICEF South Africa that addressed the issue of cyberbullying. The challenge? They had 48 hours to complete a commercial fit for screening in Ster-Kinekor cinemas.

The duo will be representing South Africa at the Cannes Awards this year, where they will be competing against finalists from all across the globe. The teams will, once again, have 48 hours to complete their challenge for a non-profit organisation.

The ladies will be jetting off on 18 June – and we will be supporting them every step of the way!

Stay tuned for more!

In just over a week, Amri Botha and Carina Coetzee – the talented winners of our SA Young Lions competition – will take off for Cannes! If you haven't seen their online bullying video, take a minute to watch it now.#CannesCinemark
